The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Normous has his takedown stuffed
and Rathbone counters with a nice body shot.
Rathbone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rathbone wants it to stay on the feet.

Normous drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Rathbone can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Normous controls the pace.
Rathbone is trying to control the position but Normous postures up.
