The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muffin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pavlyuchenko lands a really nice looking cross but Muffin seems unphased.
Muffin throws the left hand but Pavlyuchenko avoids the punch easily.
Muffin lands a nice hook to Pavlyuchenko's body. Pavlyuchenko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pavlyuchenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pavlyuchenko shoots in looking for a takedown but Muffin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pavlyuchenko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pavlyuchenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pavlyuchenko is defended easily by Muffin.
Mike Muffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Pavlyuchenko.
Pavlyuchenko takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Igor Pavlyuchenko has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muffin cracks Pavlyuchenko with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Pavlyuchenko falls to his knees and Muffin doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
