Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Clemson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Patrick shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Clemson is trying to control but can't.

Clemson gets caught napping as Patrick dives in and scores a takedown. Clemson manages to retain guard.
Patrick throws a strike but Clemson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jon Clemson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Clemson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Patrick's waist but Patrick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clemson off to one side.
Clemson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Patrick lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Patrick.
Clemson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Patrick.

so Patrick counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Clemson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Patrick's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Clemson thows a body shot but no joy.
Clemson dives in and grabs Patrick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Patrick pushes down on Clemson's head and hops out.
Clemson keeps Patrick at a distance using the push kick.
Patrick looks to score with a jab to the body but Clemson is just out of range.

Patrick throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clemson was covering up waiting for the punch and Patrick finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Patrick is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Patrick got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clemson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Patrick has managed to get both his arms back between Clemson's legs - danger averted.

Clemson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Patrick doesn't defend quickly enough and Clemson has managed to lock this one up! Can Patrick escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Clemson on a fantastic submission victory.
