Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tazona Adonis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Barnagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnagi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Adonis takes the fight into the clinch.

Adonis jumps into guard, dragging Barnagi to the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tazona Adonis just wasn't active enough.

Adonis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barnagi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Adonis back to the cage. Barnagi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Barnagi shoots in looking for a takedown. Adonis tries to sprawl out of it but Barnagi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adonis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Barnagi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Adonis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Adonis stands and throws Barnagi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Tazona Adonis will probably get the nod.

Barnagi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
