The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tao shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Holloway tries to buck Tao off but Tao is having none of it.

Tao swings around for an armbar but Holloway sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tao's guard.

Tao escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holloway gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tao is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Holloway has his hands clasped together but Tao extends an breaks Holloway's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tao.
