Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yass McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonny Rotten is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Rotten counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rotten works over McDonald's head and body with a nice combination.
Rotten shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McDonald as he jumps to the side.

McDonald shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rotten but Rotten pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

McDonald shoots in looking for a takedown but Rotten manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McDonald's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

McDonald gets underhooks to prevent Rotten's takedown attempt.
Rotten has McDonald pressed against the cage, preventing McDonald from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rotten is working for takedown but McDonald is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rotten is trying to drag McDonald to the mat but McDonald just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rotten is pressed up against the cage. McDonald has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rotten down to the mat. Rotten avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rotten lands a nice hook to McDonald's body. McDonald takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rotten enables McDonald to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rotten manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
McDonald keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rotten's head.

McDonald has gone for a leg lock! Rotten slips out almost immediately though and dives into McDonald's guard.

McDonald regains half guard, as Rotten was trying to land strikes.
Rotten wants to free his trapped foot but McDonald is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Still in half guard, Rotten seems content to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rotten is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McDonald doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rotten.

That was a close round but I would say that Jonny Rotten will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

McDonald slaps away a takedown attempt from Rotten, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rotten shoots in but no luck this time.
Rotten dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Rotten drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Rotten swings around for an armbar but McDonald sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rotten's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McDonald slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Rotten is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McDonald is just riding it out for now. Rotten eventually gives up the hold.
