Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Lepe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lepe is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lepe moves in looking to clinch but Rock pushes him off.
Lepe is breathing heavily.
Lepe has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Rock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rock showed some decent athleticism there.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ali Rock just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rock closes the distance and clinches.

Lepe takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Rock has Lepe up against the cage in a clinch.

Rock lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Rock wants to pass the guard but Lepe is keeping the position.
Rock passes Lepe's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rock is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rock passes the guard and advances to mount!
Rock controlling his opponent.
Rock's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

No joy there for Rock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lepe on the wrong end of a nice hook.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Lepe is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rock stalling.
Lepe fails to pull the fight into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rock wants to break free but Lepe has control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rock will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lepe up against the cage.

Lepe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rock smiles and moves away.

Horrible takedown by Rock or perhaps it was just good defense by Lepe which made him look bad.

and Rock counters with a nice body shot.

Rock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lepe, pushing him back against the cage.

Rock stuns Lepe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rock misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rock takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Lepe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Rock counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Lepe pushes a forearm under Rock's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Rock is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
