Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cris Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ofko Show (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Show has chosen i FUck u bIC BOY as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ofko Show!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ford feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ford lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Show wants to stand up but Ford is controlling him.
Ford is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Ford stands and steps away. Show gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Show throws a nice looking combination but Ford bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ford has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Show finds it's way round the side to connect with Ford's head.
A right-left combo lands from Show.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ford throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Show smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ford tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Show paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Show misses with a series of wild punches.
Ofko Show is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ford takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Show scores with the left hand. Ford knows he should have avoided that one.
Show thows a body kick. Ford tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Show throws a nice looking combination but Ford bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Show misses with a jab, cross combination.
Show scores with a sloppy right hand. Ford should have avoided that one.
Show connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Show lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Show misses with a jab, cross combination.
Show lands with a right hand.
Show fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Show looks winded!
Show lands a jab-cross combination.

Show gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ford's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Ford stopping the sweep attempt from Show.

Show has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ford is working away from the top position though.

Ford looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Ford works his foot free and advances to mount.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
BOOM! Ford connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Ford darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ford moves nicely into side control.
Ford controlling the position from side mount.

Ford decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Cris Ford is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Show listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Show misses with a head kick.

Show tries to sprawl but Ford drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Show is breathing heavily.
Ford looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Ford is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Show sees it coming and defends easily.
Ford thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Show's head.
Ford seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Show is looking for a sweep. Ford is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ford sitting and controlling from the half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Cris Ford just wasn't active enough.
Show connects with a right hand. Ford shakes it off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Show looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Show tries to bum rush Ford with a series of wild strikes but Ford uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ofko Show seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Show circles away from the clinch attempt.

Ford dives in and scores a takedown into Show's guard.
Ford is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ford seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Show for as long as he can get away with.

Ford stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Show with a nice cross.
Ford avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ford tries to clinch there but Show circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Show enables Ford to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Show manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Show wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ford manages to pass to side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ford looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cris Ford dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Ford is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ford throws a hook but Show blocks it.
Show misses with the combination.
Show lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Show will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Show bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ford's head.
Horrible takedown by Ford or perhaps it was just good defense by Show which made him look bad.

Ford drives through with a takedown into Show's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Ford is in close to Show's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Show takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Ford stands up and waves to Show to follow him.

Show displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ford.

Ford dives in and grabs Show's left leg, looking for a takedown. Show pushes down on Ford's head and hops out.

Show throws a right and a left that both miss.
Show throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ford.
Ford throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Ford tries to clinch up but Show circles away and keeps his distance.

Ford looking to score a takedown here. Show is defending well but Ford drives through and ends up in Show's guard.

Ford stops Show from getting back to his feet.
Ford is taking a breather. Show says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Cris Ford just wasn't active enough.

Ford looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Ford escapes and gets back to his feet.

Ford shoots in and bounces Show off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ford showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Ford chips away with some ground and pound.

Ford gets to his feet - Show follows without any prompting.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ford is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ford ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Show moves away.
Ofko Show has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ford dives in and grabs Show's left leg, looking for a takedown. Show pushes down on Ford's head and hops out.

Ford shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Show napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cris Ford is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ford content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cris Ford showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ford, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
