The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Malkin. That's going to slow Grozni down.
Malkin lands with a shot to the body.

Malkin ducks under a wild hook from Grozni.
Grozni scores with a sloppy right hand. Malkin should have avoided that one.

It looks like Ivan Grozni has been cut.
Grozni shoots for a takedown but Malkin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grozni throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Malkin looks to land a combination but Grozni avoids it well.
Malkin throws a leg kick but Grozni sees it coming and checks it nicely.
