PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tubo Lard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Remarkable Tessin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lard comes to the ring accompanied by I'm Fat. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tubo Lard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, The Remarkable Tessin!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tessin chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A bone on bone clash there as Tessin blocks the leg kick.
Lard scores with a hook to the body. Tessin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tessin slips a jab and a cross from Lard.
Lard tries to work over Tessin's front leg with a kick but Tessin checks it.
Lard walks into a stiff left hand from Tessin.
Good work by Tessin as he checks the leg kick.
Tessin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lard chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tessin can pounce on him.
Lard lands a leg kick that knocks Tessin off balance momentarily.
Lard slips a straight right by Tessin.
Lard fakes the leg kick and cracks Tessin in the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Lard counters with a low kick, right behind Tessin 's knee.

Lard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tessin. That did some damage!

Lard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tessin.

Lard feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tessin's calf.

Tessin scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tessin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tessin throws the left hand but Lard avoids the punch easily.

and Lard counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Tessin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lard throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tessin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tessin throws a jab but it's blocked by Lard.

Lard drops Tessin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tessin looks back up at him and smiles so Lard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Tessin throws out a loose jab but Lard uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tessin is still on wobbly legs! Can Lard finish him?

Lard jabs Tessin to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Lard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tessin seems to have recovered his senses.

Tessin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lard throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Lard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tessin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lard.

Tessin tries to clinch up but Lard circles away and keeps his distance.
The Remarkable Tessin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tessin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Tessin throws a jab when Lard was well out of range.
Lard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Lard feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tessin sprawling to the canvas! Tessin rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lard finish him?!

Lard sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Tessin's defenses. It connects perfectly with Tessin's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

A less than humble Tubo Lard misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
