Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between TJ Dillashaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dillashaw might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jump Around-House of Pain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, TJ Dillashaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paddy Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dillashaw gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tyson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Dillashaw looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tyson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of TJ Dillashaw.

Tyson is trying to improve his position.

Dillashaw is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tyson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Dillashaw decides to stand back up.
Dillashaw looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tyson is fending him off so far but Dillashaw persists. Nope, Tyson circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dillashaw napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dillashaw tries to kick Tyson off but Tyson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Dillashaw manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Dillashaw feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tyson can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref stands the fighters back up because TJ Dillashaw just wasn't active enough.

and Dillashaw counters with a single leg into guard. Tyson didn't expect that.

Dillashaw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tyson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tyson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dillashaw controls the pace.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tyson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Dillashaw seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tyson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dillashaw is trying to control. Tyson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Dillashaw is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tyson can do to turn this around?

Dillashaw has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tyson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Tyson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dillashaw gets his way!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dillashaw, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
