Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Okereke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Okereke looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Shadow in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Shadow staying calm.
Okereke wants to control but Shadow postures up.
Okereke seems a little lost for a moment, as Shadow dominates the positioning.
Okereke tries to buck Shadow off but Shadow is having none of it.
Shadow controls the position from side control.
Okereke takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Shadow is putting a hurting on Okereke here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shadow in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Shadow lands a few punches from side control.
Shadow is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Okereke is trying to escape and Shadow transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Okereke is forced to tap! Nice work there by Shadow! Very nice indeed!
