The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Max counters by clinching up.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Max controlling the action here for a moment.

Max manages to break the clinch.
Max throws a head kick that half lands.

Trout is rocked!

Max closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Max lands in his opponent's guard.
Trout is still in real trouble! Can Max finish him?
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Trout is looking to control Max's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Trout avoid being mounted?
Trout seems to have recovered his senses.
Trout tries to roll over but Max keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Max is working for a kimura but Trout is defending it quite comfortably.
Max is nestled in close to Trout, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Max lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Max! Trout is hurt baaadly! Max is firing away with more strikes - Trout is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
