Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luda Chris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melchior Rasmussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Luda Chris has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luda Chris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Melchior Rasmussen! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

Rasmussen drops his hands momentarily and Chris takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Chris moves into the clinch successfully.
Rasmussen is still on wobbly legs! Can Chris finish him? Rasmussen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rasmussen tries for a takedown but Chris manages to get underhooks.
Chris is pressed up against the cage. Rasmussen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chris down to the mat. Chris avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Rasmussen seems to have recovered his senses.
Chris gets a clinch.
Chris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chris scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Rasmussen looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rasmussen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chris can pounce on him.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Chris, right into the meat.
Chris connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/1.gif) That's one minute gone in the round. Chris lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Rasmussen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Chris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rasmussen. That did some damage! Rasmussen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Luda Chris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Chris with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rasmussen's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rasmussen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Chris and Rasmussen are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Chris throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Rasmussen into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Chris knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Luda Chris! A relieved looking Luda Chris thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
