Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Louis Height!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ser Jaime Lannister!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Height fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lannister avoids it really well and circles away.
Height shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lannister but Lannister pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Height shoots in looking for a takedown but Lannister manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Height's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Louis Height. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Height misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Height closes the distance and clinches up with Lannister, looking for a takedown. Height pushes Lannister against the cage but Lannister circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Height throws a combination that misses
and Lannister counters with a head kick.
Height fails with the takedown.
Height changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lannister tries to avoid it but Height manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lannister to the ground. Lannister escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Height shoots for a double leg takedown but Lannister sprawls well. He's pushed Height's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Height fails to land the takedown.
Height is breathing heavily.
Height fails with the takedown.
Height tries to clinch but Lannister moves out of range.
Ser Jaime Lannister is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Height tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lannister sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Height somewhat.
Nice sprawl there from Lannister as Height shoots in.
Height shoots in for a takedown but Lannister shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Height will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Height falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lannister counters with a big head kick but Height shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Height fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Height shoots in looking for a takedown but Lannister manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Height's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Height with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lannister counters with a huge head kick that drops Height! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
