PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Snack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze has chosen Monster by Skillet as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snack moves into the clinch successfully.
Snack has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Blaze after a bit of a struggle.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Blaze.
Blaze is pressed up against the cage. Snack has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Blaze down to the mat. Blaze avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Blaze throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Snack.

It looks like Sam Snack has been cut.
Blaze lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Snack takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Blaze closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blaze tries a body shot but Snack blocks it.
Snack is looking for a takedown.

Snack blocks an uppercut.

Blaze is fighting off a takedown attempt but Snack is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Blaze to the mat. Blaze regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Snack is pulling down on Blaze's head. It's preventing any offense from Blaze, at least for the moment.
Snack is breathing heavily.

Snack has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Blaze has passed into side control.
Blaze tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Blaze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snack keeps working.

Snack is trying to control Blaze's posture but Blaze avoids it.
Snack misses with a strike from the bottom.
Blaze gets to mount! Snack was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Snack is squirming around, avoiding Blaze's attempts to control the action.
Snack tries to reverse the position but Blaze maintains control.

Blaze has Snack up against the cage in a clinch.
Blaze lands a damaging elbow.
Blaze throws a head punch that misses.
Blaze makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Snack takes a knee to the side of the body.
Blaze lands an elbow inside that Snack shrugs off.

Blaze tries to throw a body punch but Snack avoids it by throwing Blaze back against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Blaze.

Blaze lands a right hand that snaps the head of Snack backwards.
Blaze gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Blaze misses with a hook from the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Blaze drops Snack with a big knee straight up the middle! Snack is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Blaze seems to be stalking Snack here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Snack drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
