Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Philip Traverse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Coleman!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Traverse misses with an uppercut.
Traverse throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Coleman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Traverse lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Traverse tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes.
Coleman avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Traverse dives in and grabs Coleman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Coleman pushes down on Traverse's head and hops out.
Traverse cracks Coleman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Traverse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Coleman on his heels. He'll look to pass Coleman's guard now, I'm sure.
Traverse is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Traverse throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Traverse throws a strike but Coleman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Traverse is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Coleman wants to pass the guard but Traverse is keeping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Traverse looking to control but Coleman passes into half guard.
Traverse wants to get back to full guard.

Coleman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Traverse could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Coleman has cracked it and Traverse is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Coleman!
