Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yushi Tatizu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ram Saucedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saucedo fails with the takedown.
Tatizu swats away the attempt to clinch by Saucedo.
Tatizu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Saucedo.
Tatizu misses with a wild combination.
Saucedo closes the distance and clinches up with Tatizu, looking for a takedown. Saucedo pushes Tatizu against the cage but Tatizu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yushi Tatizu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ram Saucedo.

Tatizu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tatizu slips a nice elbow through Saucedo's hands, connecting with Saucedo's forehead.
Tatizu is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Tatizu is nestled in close to Saucedo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Tatizu stands up from half guard.
Tatizu keeps the fight on the outside.
Saucedo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tatizu tries to avoid it but Saucedo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tatizu to the ground. Tatizu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tatizu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saucedo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Saucedo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Tatizu counters with a single leg into guard. Saucedo didn't expect that.

Saucedo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tatizu has picked Saucedo up and slammed him! Saucedo can't keep hold of the triangle and Tatizu manages to pass to side control!
Saucedo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tatizu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee asks Tatizu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tatizu prefers to stall for the moment though.
Saucedo is trying to get back to half guard.

Tatizu in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Saucedo is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
