The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maxwell but Maxwell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hart will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hart shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Maxwell napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Maxwell is trying to buck Hart off.
Maxwell takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Maxwell is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hart is controlling him well.

Hart has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Maxwell is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hart yanks on the arm and Maxwell is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hart.
