Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Setne Apophis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zane Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apophis circles away from the clinch attempt
and Apophis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Apophis.
Alexander is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Alexander utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Apophis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Alexander really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Apophis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Setne Apophis.
Apophis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Apophis lands a nice short elbow.

Apophis slips a nice elbow through Alexander's hands, connecting with Alexander's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Apophis connects with a nice short shot to Alexander's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alexander tries to hold on but Apophis pushes him away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Apophis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander cracks Apophis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Alexander lands a nice shot to the body.

Setne Apophis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Apophis engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Apophis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

It looks like Setne Apophis has been cut.
Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch but Apophis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jab, jab by Alexander - just one landing.

Alexander comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Apophis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Apophis takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Apophis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Zane Alexander is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alexander doesn't manage to clinch there - Apophis circles away.
Alexander ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Zane Alexander seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Alexander scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Alexander tries to clinch but Apophis moves out of range.
Alexander wants to clinch up but Apophis keeps it at a distance.
Apophis keeps the fight on the outside.
Alexander sends Apophis crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Alexander is motioning to the referee to let Apophis up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Apophis is rocked!

Apophis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oh Apophis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alexander cracks Apophis with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Apophis tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Alexander pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Apophis is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zane Alexander!
