Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Invictus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with Gracie Entrance blaring out of the sound system. Invictus has chosen Welcome To The World as his entrance music. Ricardo Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricardo Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lance Invictus!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Invictus tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Invictus to the ground. Invictus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Left hook, right uppercut from Invictus.
Gracie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lance Invictus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Invictus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Invictus on his heels. He'll look to pass Invictus's guard now, I'm sure.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gracie seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Invictus is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

In his post fight interview, Ricardo Gracie started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
