Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pippy Poker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hawk's guard.
Poker postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hawk keeping moving, preventing Poker from controlling successfully.

Poker drops back looking for a leg! Hawk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hawk manages to kick Poker off! Poker jumps back into Hawk's guard.
Hawk trying to keep a closed guard but Poker is proving a slippery customer.
Poker is looking to work some ground and pound but Hawk has wrist control.
Poker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Poker is working Hawk over with some ground and pound from side control.
Poker throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hawk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Poker has hold of Hawk's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hawk seems comfortable defending it but Poker has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hawk is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hawk is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Poker couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pippy Poker!
Pippy Poker seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
