Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ground N Pound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bullet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ground N Pound has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ground N Pound!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Bullet!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
N Pound throws a head kick that misses.
N Pound shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bullet slaps away a takedown attempt from N Pound, before circling back to the center of the mat.
N Pound closes the distance looking to clinch

and Bullet counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
N Pound tries to pull guard but Bullet forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ground N Pound. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bullet keeps control of N Pound as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bullet has N Pound pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. N Pound manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
N Pound tries to circle away but Bullet has him pinned against the cage.
Bullet prevents N Pound from breaking the clinch.

N Pound is trying to break the clinch but Bullet is controlling him.
Bullet tries for a takedown but N Pound manages to get underhooks.

Bullet has dropped down and is working for a takedown. N Pound is trying to keep an underhook but Bullet manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
N Pound wants to control but Bullet is keeping busy.
N Pound works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bullet must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

N Pound is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

N Pound is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

N Pound is striking from the bottom but Bullet uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
N Pound is trying to control but can't.
Bullet thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
N Pound is positioning himself well to prevent Bullet advancing to mount.
N Pound tries to roll over but Bullet keeps him under control.

Still in half guard, Bullet seems content to control.
N Pound keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
N Pound trying to control but Bullet postures up.
N Pound works his way to full guard. Good work.
N Pound looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bullet postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

N Pound looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bullet drops back, looking for a kneebar! N Pound looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. N Pound looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from N Pound!
Bullet can't do much from the bottom here.

N Pound in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ground N Pound dominated that round.
That's time! N Pound's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


N Pound shoots for a double leg takedown but Bullet sprawls well. He's pushed N Pound's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

N Pound shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bullet's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ground N Pound.
N Pound shoots in but Bullet avoids the takedown attempt easily.

N Pound shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bullet manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
N Pound seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
N Pound pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bullet is keeping the position for now.

Bullet working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from N Pound.
Bullet can't keep his opponent in guard - N Pound advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
N Pound trying to control the pace.
N Pound passes the guard and advances to mount!
Ground N Pound overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bullet is breathing heavily.

N Pound content just to control the position here.
N Pound is trying to control here but Bullet has managed to regain half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
N Pound missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Bullet keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
N Pound is taking a breather. Bullet says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
N Pound tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bullet controls his leg.

That's time! N Pound's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



N Pound feints and as Bullet raises his hands in defense, N Pound changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
N Pound is looking to advance position but Bullet has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
N Pound is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
N Pound bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
N Pound trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

N Pound wants to get up but he can't break Bullet's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ground N Pound just wasn't active enough.

N Pound closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bullet can't do much from the bottom here.
Bullet takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
N Pound passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bullet!

N Pound tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
N Pound's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
N Pound lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ground N Pound is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

N Pound controlling the position easily from mount.
N Pound seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bullet for as long as he can get away with.
Jack Bullet has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ground N Pound showed his dominance in that final round.
Well N Pound has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
