Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Willson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ethan Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddy Willson!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jones gets control of Willson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Willson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Willson's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Willson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Willson has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Willson wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
Willson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Willson trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
Willson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Willson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Willson content to stall in guard here.
Willson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Eddy Willson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Willson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Willson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
Jones fails to pull guard.

Willson jumps into guard, dragging Jones to the mat.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Willson is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Willson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jones manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones wants to sweep here but Willson controlling him for the moment.

Willson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jones to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Willson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jones pulls down on the head and he's put Willson to sleep! This one is all over!
