Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabayasi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kabayasi throws a series of punches but Mumtazia avoids them all with ease.
Mumtazia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mumtazia throws a head kick but Kabayasi moves out of range.
Mumtazia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Masato Kabayasi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kabayasi feints a jab promting Mumtazia to slip. Kabayasi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mumtazia slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kabayasi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mumtazia circles away quickly and effectively.
Mumtazia clinches up with Kabayasi and pushes him back against the cage.
Mumtazia breaks the clinch.
Kabayasi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No luck for Mumtazia with that takedown attempt.

Mumtazia jumps into guard, dragging Kabayasi to the mat.

Kabayasi tries to bum rush Mumtazia with a series of wild strikes but Mumtazia uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mumtazia's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kabayasi fails to land with a series of punches.
Mumtazia closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mumtazia wants to take the fight to the mat but Kabayasi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Mumtazia changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kabayasi fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mumtazia shoots in and drives through. Kabayasi sprawls well.
Mumtazia takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Mumtazia could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kabayasi lands a jab-cross combination.

Kabayasi throws a right hand that Mumtazia ducks under and follows up with a left that Mumtazia also avoids with ease.
Mumtazia has Kabayasi up against the cage in a clinch.
Kabayasi tries to break the clinch but Mumtazia is controlling the position.

Mumtazia's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kabayasi wants to stand but Mumtazia has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alwi Mumtazia will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mumtazia moves into the clinch successfully.
Mumtazia lands with a right to the head.
Kabayasi avoiding damage as Mumtazia throws knees to the body.
Mumtazia manages to pull guard.
Mumtazia manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mumtazia controlling the position easily from mount.
Kabayasi is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mumtazia locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Kabayasi is forced to tap!
