The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down has his takedown stuffed
and Magnus counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Down avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Magnus lands a nice shot that snaps Down's head back.
Magnus looks to score with a jab to the body but Down is just out of range.
Down will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Magnus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Magnus throws a low kick, looking for Down's leg but Down calmly moves out of range.
Magnus jabs Down to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Down throws a nice looking combination but Magnus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Down gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Magnus counters with a nice body kick.
