Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sir Byakuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Snith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snith shoots in for a takedown but Byakuya shows good takedown defense.
Snith misses with a takedown attempt - Byakuya sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Snith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Snith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Byakuya sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Snith somewhat.

Byakuya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Snith is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Byakuya is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Snith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Snith has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Byakuya is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Byakuya could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Snith is trying to break free.

Byakuya looking to break Snith's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Snith remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Byakuya will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Snith looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Snith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Byakuya. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Snith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Byakuya's waist but Byakuya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snith off to one side.

Byakuya fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Snith to the ground. Byakuya is now in Snith's guard.
Snith wants to sweep here but Byakuya controlling him for the moment.

Byakuya seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Snith has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Byakuya is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Snith.
Snith takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Byakuya rushes Snith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
