Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerald Jenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerald Jenson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jenson throws a sloppy head kick and Townsend moves out of range easily.
Jenson leaves Townsend with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brian Townsend will probably get the nod.
