Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ji Lung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ioshihiro Nakomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ioshihiro Nakomi!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lung gets a double leg takedown into Nakomi's guard.
Nakomi trying to keep a closed guard but Lung is proving a slippery customer.
Lung pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nakomi is keeping the position for now.
Lung trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakomi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nakomi pulls Lung in close to his closed guard and prevents Lung from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nakomi looks for a takedown but Lung sprawls well.

Nakomi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lung counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nakomi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lung throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nakomi's waist but Nakomi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lung off to one side.

Nakomi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lung sprawls well initially but Nakomi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lung regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lung is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lung seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Nakomi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lung looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Nakomi puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Lung looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lung really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nakomi wants to control but Lung is keeping him busy.
Lung wants to get back to his feet.

Lung manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Lung swats away the attempt to clinch by Nakomi.

Nakomi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nakomi has eaten all the pies!
Come on Nakomi - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lung tries to pull guard but Nakomi forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Lung throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Lung drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ji Lung. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nakomi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lung darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lung connects with a nice short shot to Nakomi's temple.
Nakomi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ji Lung will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lung shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nakomi as he avoids it easily.
Nakomi keeps the fight on the outside.

Nakomi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Lung wants to improve his position but Nakomi is controlling well.
Lung gets full guard.
Lung is trying to keep Nakomi in close.
Lung working a defensive guard but Nakomi manages to pass into side control anyway.

Nakomi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lung, who protects the arm well.
Lung tries to buck Nakomi off but Nakomi is having none of it.

Lung manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lung wants to improve his position but Nakomi is controlling well.
Ji Lung overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lung is working hard here to advance position.
Nakomi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Lung is looking for a sweep. Nakomi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nakomi moves into full mount! Lung won't be happy about that!

Nakomi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ioshihiro Nakomi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Nakomi rushes Lung and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lung is pressed up against the cage. Nakomi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lung down to the mat. Lung avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A head kick from Lung lands but Nakomi takes it in his stride.

Lung manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nakomi on his heels. He'll look to pass Nakomi's guard now, I'm sure.
Lung will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nakomi is trying to keep Lung in close.

Lung stands up and waves to Nakomi to follow him.
Nakomi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nakomi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Lung cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ji Lung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ioshihiro Nakomi.
Nakomi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lung lands with a straight right. Nakomi didn't see that one coming.

Lung closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lung is trying to drag Nakomi to the mat but Nakomi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Nakomi tries to pull guard but Lung forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Nakomi is trying to break free.
Lung tries to pull guard but Nakomi holds him up against the cage and eventually Lung drops back down to his feet.
Nakomi wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lung has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nakomi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Nakomi struggles to land a body shot inside as Lung controls his hands.
Lung is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Nakomi is defending well.
Lung gets underhooks to prevent Nakomi's takedown attempt.

Nakomi manages to break the clinch.
Nakomi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lung but Lung pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lung lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Lung is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Nakomi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
