Fortunado walks into a straight right hand from Russell.
Russell swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fortunado.
Russell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice uppercut there from Russell.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Russell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fortunados jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fortunado will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Russell steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Fortunado is out on his feet! Russell sets himself and nearly takes Fortunado's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

After the fight, JaMarcus Russell was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
