The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Colon checks a low kick from Barniani .
Colon takes one to the chin there.
Barniani is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Barniani closes the distance looking to clinch
and Colon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Barniani moves in looking to clinch but Colon pushes him off.
Colon circles away from the clinch attempt
and Colon counters with a nice kick to the body.
Barniani tries to clinch but Colon is having none of it.

Barniani closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Colon's guard.

Barniani really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Colon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Colon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Colon is breathing heavily.
Barniani is looking to stand up but Colon won't let him.

Colon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barniani stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barniani is sitting in close to Colon's body. Colon has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Barniani is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Barniani is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Colon.
