The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trezeguet slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Joe Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Trezeguet.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Trezeguet sprawls well.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trezeguet's waist but Trezeguet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice sprawl there from Trezeguet as Smith shoots in.
Trezeguet feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Smith collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
