Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Aaron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terance Proctor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Proctor. Aaron does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horrible takedown by Proctor or perhaps it was just good defense by Aaron which made him look bad.

Aaron has Proctor up against the cage in a clinch.

Aaron escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aaron shoots in for a takedown but Proctor shows good takedown defense.
Aaron tries to clinch there but Proctor circles away.
Aaron looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Aaron closes the distance and pushes Proctor back into the cage.

Proctor has Aaron pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Proctor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Aaron tumbling to the mat - Proctor dives into Aaron's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Aaron had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Proctor defends it easily.
Proctor with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Proctor connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Proctor distracts Aaron with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Terance Proctor.
Proctor throws a low kick but Aaron moves out of range easily.
Aaron tries to clinch but Proctor is having none of it.
Proctor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Proctor checks a leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aaron looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Aaron fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Aaron. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Proctor gets the takedown into side control.

Aaron is rocked!
Proctor cracks Aaron with a big right hand but Aaron just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Aaron is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big shot lands for Proctor! That's hurt Aaron! Will he recover? Proctor fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
