Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Asly Hamps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Johnson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Asly Hamps's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Johnson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hamps is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Johnson to the mat. Johnson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hamps could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Johnson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hamps has picked Johnson up and slammed him! Johnson can't keep hold of the triangle and Hamps manages to pass to side control!

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hamps. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hamps has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Hamps drives through with a takedown into Johnson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hamps drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick Hamps off! Hamps jumps back into Johnson's guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hamps in particular looking to stall.
Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hamps is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Hamps is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hamps content to control rather than advance.

Hamps has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Johnson looks winded!
Hamps fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Hamps is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Johnson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Johnson shrugs it off.

Hamps is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Johnson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Johnson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hamps anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Johnson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hamps slips an arm under Johnson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hamps has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hamps is squeezing on Johnson like an anaconda would it's prey. Johnson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
