Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore misses with a series of wild punches.
Moore shoots in and drives through. Boyett sprawls well.
Boyett throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Moore counters with a stiff right hand.
Boyett pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boyett looks to land a combination but Moore avoids it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Boyett looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boyett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boyett tries to land a front kick but Moore steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boyett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
No luck for Moore with that takedown attempt.
Boyett throws a leg kick but Moore checks it.
Boyett takes a swing at Moore's ribcage but misses.
Boyett throws out a powerful jab.

Moore takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Trent Boyett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyett looks to land a body kick but Moore moved away.
Boyett throws a solid leg kick but Moore takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Boyett.
Moore keeps the fight on the outside.
Trent Boyett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boyett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Moore drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Moore postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Moore tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Boyett gets back to half guard.

Moore stalling away here and it's allowed Boyett to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Boyett pushes Moore off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Moore tries to bum rush Boyett with a series of wild strikes but Boyett uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Moore takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Boyett throws a right and a left that both miss.
Moore is still on wobbly legs! Can Boyett finish him?
Boyett looks to land a combination but Moore avoids it well.
Moore seems to have recovered his senses.

Moore jumps guard but Boyett stands there with Moore around his waist. Moore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Boyett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moore moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Boyett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Moore shoots in for a double leg but Boyett sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Moore counters with a takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boyett is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moore looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Moore trying to control the position but Boyett is working away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Boyett misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Boyett escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moore misses with a two punch combination.

and Boyett counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Moore thinking.
Moore tries to clinch up but Boyett circles away and keeps his distance.
Moore throws the left hand but Boyett avoids the punch easily.
Moore shoots in but Boyett avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Boyett.
Boyett throws a combination that misses
and Moore counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Boyett throws and low kick but Moore moves out of range easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Moore blocks a low kick nicely.

Boyett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Horrible takedown by Moore or perhaps it was just good defense by Boyett which made him look bad.
Boyett is looking to clinch but Moore is avoiding it.
Boyett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Moore counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Boyett's guard now.

Boyett is looking to stand up but Moore isn't so interested in that idea.
Moore thows a big elbow that misses.
Moore with a nice head shot there.
Boyett wants to stand and escape but Moore is having none of it.
Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Boyett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boyett pulls Moore in close to his closed guard and prevents Moore from doing any damage or advancing position.

Boyett doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Boyett throws a nice inside leg kick.
Moore shoots in but Boyett avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boyett throws a body punch but Moore moves out of range.
Boyett throws a sloppy head kick
letting Moore counter with a right hand.
Nice combo by Boyett! Oh, that's hurt him - Moore falls to the canvas and Boyett follows him into side control.

It looks like Rodney Moore has been cut.
Boyett controls the position.

Boyett decides to stand up, so the ref orders Moore to his feet.
Boyett tries to clinch up.
A combination from Boyett does no damage.
Boyett lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Moore can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Boyett and Moore drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Boyett.
