The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kutour fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hawkwing sprawls well initially but Kutour persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kutour slows the pace down in half guard.
Kutour tries to pass to full mount but Hawkwing defends it.
Kutour is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hawkwing trying to hold on to Kutour's head to control him but Kutour postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brandy Kutour hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kutour throws a series of punches but Hawkwing avoids them all with ease.
Kutour drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hawkwing will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kutour is sitting in close to Hawkwing's body. Hawkwing has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kutour is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kutour is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hawkwing.
