The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dojo slips a jab and a cross from Kabayasi.

Dojo jumps guard and drags Kabayasi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kabayasi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Dojo pushes Kabayasi off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Dojo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kabayasi's waist but Kabayasi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dojo off to one side.
Dojo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kabayasi but Kabayasi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kabayasi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dojo circles away quickly and effectively.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dojo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kabayasi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
