Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Spede Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jone Hymynaama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spede Gonzales has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzales clinches.
Gonzales gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hymynaama.

Hymynaama jumps guard but Gonzales stands there with Hymynaama around his waist. Hymynaama gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hymynaama had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gonzales is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hymynaama Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gonzales's back instead.

Hymynaama is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gonzales has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
