Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cody Funke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inge Grepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funke comes to the cage accompanied by never gonna stop. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cody Funke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Inge Grepp!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Funke throws a jab but it's blocked by Grepp.
Funke sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Funke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grepp throws a body kick that misses.
Funke misses with a hook. Grepp ducked under it nicely.
Grepp digs a good hook to Funke's body.
Funke lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grepp circles away quickly and effectively.
Funke looks to land a left hand but Grepp moved out of range nicely.

Funke throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grepp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Funke is in Grepp's guard.

Funke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grepp has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Funke has managed to get both his arms back between Grepp's legs - danger averted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Funke content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Grepp utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Funke is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Funke with a flurry of punches that miss.

Grepp looking for subs off his back but Funke has passed one foot through into half guard.
Funke lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Grepp looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Funke drops an elbow to the side of Grepp's head.
Funke scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Grepp blocking the ground and pound attempt from Funke.

Grepp is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Funke pulls his head out easily.
Grepp looks winded!

Funke is trying for a kimura here. Grepp looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Funke wins by kimura!
