Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro LaCosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Haskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedro LaCosta had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haskins shoots in for a double leg but LaCosta sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Haskins shoots in and bounces LaCosta off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Haskins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
LaCosta tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Haskins stands and throws LaCosta's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Haskins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but LaCosta is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
LaCosta is looking for a sweep.
LaCosta pushes Haskins away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Haskins gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Haskins tries to advance to mount but LaCosta denies him.
Haskins passes to full mount! That's big trouble for LaCosta!
Haskins is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but LaCosta is surviving well by controlling Haskins's body position as best he can.
Haskins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, LaCosta has worked his arm free - good work by LaCosta!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Haskins working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Haskins looks gassed!
LaCosta explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
LaCosta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Haskins misses with a takedown attempt
and LaCosta counters with a three punch combo that has Haskins backing up. Haskins nods at LaCosta to acknowledge the strikes.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
LaCosta breaks from the clinch.
Haskins looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for LaCosta!
Haskins has hold of LaCosta's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and LaCosta manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haskins takes LaCosta's back.
LaCosta trying to control the hands but Haskins breaks the grip.
LaCosta defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Haskins's arms.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
LaCosta is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
LaCosta manages to reverse the position and now he's in Haskins's guard. Nice work there by LaCosta.
Haskins looking for a sweep. Not yet Haskins, not yet.
Haskins looking for a triangle here. LaCosta is fighting it but it looks tight! Haskins pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, LaCosta is tapping out - this one is all over!
