The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Archavin moves into the clinch.

Mikhalok has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Archavin regains guard immediately.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Mikhalok thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Archavin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mikhalok is one step ahead there.

Archavin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mikhalok.

Archavin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mikhalok manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Archavin wanted to stand there but Mikhalok had control of the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Archavin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mikhalok has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Archavin is looking to defend but Mikhalok has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Archavin! Mikhalok pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Archavin taps out and this one is all over!
