Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ken Dietrich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Frank!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Frank fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dietrich looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Frank is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dietrich rather than just go for the knockout.
Dietrich has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Frank.

Frank tries to keep at a distance but Dietrich has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dietrich turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dietrich manages to end up in side control.

Frank is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dietrich is controlling him well.
Dietrich throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Frank pushes Dietrich away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dietrich gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Dietrich is trying to get an arm triangle but Frank is defending well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Frank is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Dietrich has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dietrich shoots for a double leg takedown but Frank sprawls well. He's pushed Dietrich's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frank shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dietrich eats them both and turns towards Frank to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dietrich shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Frank is trying to defend but Dietrich finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
