The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolt swings away with a leg kick that misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bolt makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Bolt tries to break the clinch but Kurt is controlling the position.
Bolt can't find room to land a body shot as Kurt controls the action.
The referee calls for Kurt to work.

Bolt gets control of Kurt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bolt will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bolt looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kurt gets to his feet - Bolt follows without any prompting.
No joy there for Kurt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bolt lands a right hook to the body.
Bolt is looking to chop away at Kurt's legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kurt pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bolt back to the cage. Kurt follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
John Bolt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bolt drops Kurt with a beautiful combination! Kurt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bolt is looking for the KO!

It looks like Denzel Kurt has been cut.

Bolt tries to bum rush Kurt with a series of wild strikes but Kurt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kurt misses with a double jab.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Bolt knocks Kurt out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
