Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Evil Ryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jai McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jai McCracken!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryu is looking to clinch but McCracken is avoiding it.
Ryu closes the distance but McCracken moves to the side
and McCracken counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ryu's knee momentarily.
McCracken keeps the fight on the outside.
McCracken scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Some wild striking there from Ryu.
McCracken dodges the punch combination from Ryu.
Ryu scores with a shot to the body.
Ryu moves to clinch but McCracken breaks away

and McCracken counters with a head kick that drops Ryu to the mat! Ryu scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Ryu is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCracken throws a nice looking combination but Ryu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ryu looks to clinch
and McCracken counters with an inside leg kick.
Ryu moves to clinch but McCracken breaks away
and McCracken makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ryu throws a series of punches but McCracken avoids them all with ease.
McCracken swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Evil Ryu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McCracken throws a low kick, looking for Ryu's leg but Ryu calmly moves out of range.
McCracken jabs at Ryu's body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ryu!
McCracken thows a leg kick but Ryu checks it
and Ryu counters with a two punch combo.
Ryu throws a right and a left that McCracken avoids nicely.
McCracken thows a body shot but no joy.
McCracken swings for the body but Ryu moves out of range.
McCracken misses with a head kick.
McCracken bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ryu's head backwards.
A low kick from McCracken misses
and Ryu counters with a two punch combo.
McCracken throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McCracken throws a big shot that misses.
Ryu throws a sloppy head kick and McCracken moves out of range easily.
McCracken keeps the fight on the outside.
Ryu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ryu tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ryu wants to clinch
and McCracken counters with a nice uppercut.
Ryu walks straight into a right hand from McCracken - that's dropped him! McCracken jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ryu from any more punishment! Ryu complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
