Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gonzala Kerrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kerrison might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "The Unforgiven III"-Metallica. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerrison lands with a nice body punch.

Kerrison turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kerrison manages to end up in side control.
rodrigo is not content to let Kerrison control the position.
rodrigo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kerrison wants to control but rodrigo is keeping him busy.

You can see the frustration on rodrigo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kerrison throws an elbow but rodrigo slips to the side and avoids it well.

rodrigo manages to get to full guard.
rodrigo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

rodrigo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kerrison can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
