Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chad Slone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Slone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In The Air Tonight. Erick Medina will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slone steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Medina. That one must have hurt.
Slone on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Slone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Medina wants to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Slone in particular looking to stall.
Medina looks like he's trying to stand up.
Slone is controlling the pace.

Slone is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
