No luck with that takedown attempt from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko throws the left hand but Dennehy avoids the punch easily.
Dennehy moves forwards but Emelianenko connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Emelianenko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Dennehy sends Emelianenko crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dennehy is motioning to the referee to let Emelianenko up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Ivan Emelianenko has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dennehy throws a pinpoint strike between Emelianenko's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Emelianenko crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Dennehy scores a great knockout victory!
