Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Nassoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerry Nassoon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Peters!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters cracks a nice hook into Nassoon's ribs.
Peters looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Nassoon instigates a clinch.

Nassoon is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Peters can't fight it off and eventually Nassoon manages to take the fight to the floor. Peters looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Peters tries to free his leg and advance position but Nassoon is retaining full guard.

James Peters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A close second round but James Peters will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Nassoon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Peters swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nassoon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peters keeps working.

Nassoon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Peters knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Peters avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nassoon.

Nassoon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nassoon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nassoon tries to move to mount but Peters blocks the move with his legs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Peters misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Peters wants to get back to striking at distance but Nassoon won't allow it.

Nassoon is trying to trip Peters. He has hold of a leg but Peters is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Nassoon persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
