The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mooose gets a takedown into half guard.
Mooose throwing shots but Creed is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mooose trying to mount his opponent but Creed defends it.
Creed has hold of Mooose's hands but Mooose slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mooose drops an elbow to the side of Creed's head.

It looks like Apollo Creed has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mooose trying to control from half guard but Creed is working away.
Creed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Creed tries to get out of the position.
Mooose not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Creed could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mooose is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Apollo Creed's cut is getting worse.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Apollo Creed's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
