Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roope Latvala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Raymore Ardonia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Latvala might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Children of Bodom - Tie my rope. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardonia lands a slapping body shot.
Latvala shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ardonia but Ardonia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Latvala tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ardonia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Latvala somewhat.
Latvala throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ardonia pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Latvala back to the cage. Ardonia follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ardonia throws a nice looking combination but Latvala bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Latvala avoids a punch combination nicely.
Latvala tries to clinch but Ardonia moves out of range.
Latvala throws a shot from downtown. Ardonia moves away and avoids it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Latvala is defended easily by Ardonia.

Latvala moves forwards but Ardonia connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Latvala shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ardonia but Ardonia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Latvala. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Latvala closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ardonia can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ardonia can't escape the position.
Ardonia wants to hold on but Latvala pushes him away.
Ardonia takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Latvala postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ardonia looks a forlorn figure.
Ardonia is still in real trouble! Can Latvala finish him?
Latvala postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ardonia in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ardonia to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
